About Us
The Center will provide after school programs and activities in partnership with local organizations and the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine to ensure our kids have a safe place to play and grow. We will work in partnership with local organizations to make healthy snacks available and space for youth recreation programs.
The Center also offers space for senior activities, family wellness and health coaching programs, indoor activities, as well as rentable space for private parties, classes, and gatherings.

Why We Need This
The US News "Best States" 2021 report ranks West Virginia 47th overall with bottom five rankings in health care, education, and infrastructure. The bright spot in the US News report is the state's highest ranking: 18th in the nation for economic opportunity. The strongest public health research shows that rural areas lack investment in community health infrastructure, which is responsible for 80% of the community health. The Center is an investment in the opportunity of the Greenbrier Valley to become the healthiest community in West Virginia.
